I am an investor, writer, and founding partner at Anomaly, an early-stage frontier tech investment firm. I am the author of Boom: Bubbles and the End of Stagnation (with Byrne Hobart), a book on technological stagnation and the nature of innovation (forthcoming with Stripe Press).
Previously, I co-founded a quantitative investment research firm that harnesses insights from statistical mechanics, mimetic theory, and complex systems science to exploit mimetic dynamics and market inefficiencies. I also advised family offices on Bitcoin and early-stage tech investments. I have a background in philosophy and hold a Doctor of Science from ETH Zurich.
